Events

The 4th annual euchre tournament hosted by the Sandwich South Historical Society.  A fun afternoon of euchre in honour of Chuck Durocher, an avid card player, who passed away in 2024. Open to everyone. $15 per person with sandwiches, snacks and coffee provided. Cash prizes for the top scores.

Everyone is welcome to come out and share ideas and stories about the former Sandwich South Township.  We meet about every other month to plan community events and discuss our history.  

Carolyn McGuire Gerard, a local artist and historian, has published her second book on the barns of Sandwich South and area.   She has interviewed the families and will share the stories behind these multi-generational structures.  Books with her sketches and stories will be available for purchase after her brief presentation.  This is a free, community […]
